MODERN LABORATORIES

Modern Laboratories – Where Innovation Meets Application

At Jai Maa Ambey Institute of Pharmacy, we believe that true learning happens when students get the chance to put their knowledge into practice. That’s why our modern laboratories are designed to give students hands-on experience, helping them turn theory into real-world skills. Our labs are equipped with the latest tools and technology to ensure students are prepared for the challenges they will face as future pharmacists.

Each laboratory is specialized to focus on different areas of pharmacy. In the Pharmaceutical Chemistry Lab, students learn how to analyze and synthesize drugs using advanced equipment like UV spectrophotometers and digital balances. The Pharmaceutics Lab focuses on the preparation of medicines, teaching students how to make tablets, capsules, and other pharmaceutical products. In the Pharmacology Lab, students explore how drugs affect the human body, using ethical methods and advanced simulations to learn without any harm.

Our Specialized Labs Include:

  • Pharmaceutics Lab
Focused on the formulation and evaluation of dosage forms, this lab is equipped with tablet punching machines, dissolution testers, and capsule fillers—preparing students for real-world pharmaceutical manufacturing.

  • Pharmaceutical Chemistry Lab
Designed to enhance students’ understanding of drug synthesis and analysis. With instruments like UV spectrophotometers, refractometers, and digital balances, students explore the chemistry behind active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs).

  • Pharmacology Lab
Emphasizing ethical learning, our pharmacology lab includes simulation software, organ bath setups, and kymographs for studying drug action without the use of live animals.

  • Pharmacognosy Lab
This lab enables students to identify and analyze medicinal plants and crude drugs using microscopes, TLC chambers, and extraction units, blending ancient knowledge with modern methods.

  • Microbiology Lab
Equipped with autoclaves, laminar airflow hoods, incubators, and microscopes to train students in aseptic techniques, microbial analysis, and sterilization methods essential for pharmaceutical quality control.

  • Human Anatomy & Physiology Lab
Featuring anatomical models, preserved specimens, and advanced microscope stations, this lab supports in-depth study of human systems vital for clinical understanding.
